Advanced membrane technology:
Though conventional method with diatomaceous earth (DE) and centrifuge can ensure permeate′s clarity, it′s hard to remove bacteria in the juice, so the product′s shelf life is short. Besides, they have disadvantages of low productivity, high operation cost, large raw juice consumption and high cost of filtering aid and clarifying agents, which results in the complicated processes with low economic efficiency. On the contray, tubular membrane filtration applied in juice clarification not only can remove bacterials, pectins and crude proteins which will make juice metamorphic, but also preserve fragrant aromas and nutrients.
